THE VISIT

HAPPY Rainy Thursday!

Tomorrow, birthday ni Granny… first birthday niya na wala na siya sa amin, she will going to celebrate her birthday in heaven.

Last night, my Granny visited me in my dream… and I know na isa lang naman ang ibig niyang sabihin kung bakit binisita niya ako sa panaginip… to remind me na birthday niya.

Sus, Granny, kahit ‘di mo ipaalala, maaalala ko. Ikaw pa, eh loves kita. ‘Wag mo ng ulitin ‘yung ginawa mo sa akin last month nang ‘di ko naman sinasadya mga pillow case mo pala ang nadala at ginamit ko dito sa Manila. ‘Wag mo na akong tabihan… oo, ibabalik ko na sila.

Freaky but it’s true… ‘di ko sinasadyang nadala at nagamit ko rito sa Manila ‘yung mga pillow case ng lola ko. Pagdating ng gabi, I know and I can smell my lola na she’s beside me, pero ‘di ako natakot. Paggising ko at inisip ang nangyari noong gabing ‘yun, nang tingnan ko mga pillow case ko… my goodness… pillow cases nga pala ni Granny ang gamit ko. Then I realize na dinalaw talaga ako ni Granny, mukhang ayaw pang ipamana sa akin ‘yung pillow case niya. After din noon, nag-offer ako ng rosary prayer for her.

Tomorrow nga birthday niya, timing naman na may First Friday Mass dito sa office, isasama ko siya sa Mass intentions bago pa niya ulit ako dalawin… my goodness… Granny walang ganyanan!

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

These are the some information/symptoms that I’ve got upon searching the net regarding Breast Cancer.

• A change in how the breast or nipple feels
• A lump or thickening in or near the breast or in the underarm area
• Nipple tenderness
• A change in how the breast or nipple looks
• A change in the size or shape of the breast
• A nipple turned inward into the breast
• The skin of the breast, areola, or nipple may be scaly, red, or swollen. It may have ridges or pitting so that it looks like the skin of an orange.
• Nipple discharge (fluid)
• Early breast cancer usually does not cause pain. Still, a woman should see her health care provider about breast pain or any other symptom that does not go away. Most often, these symptoms are not due to cancer. Other health problems may also cause them. Any woman with these symptoms should tell her doctor so that problems can be diagnosed and treated as early as possible.

HEART’S CONFESSION

ANOTHER heart’s confession here in my blog to end this week! No, no, it is not about breaking up, because I’m not in a relationship. It is about it seems I want to let go (but I’m having an hard time to do it) of something that am looking forward to happen but it seems it will never going to happen… I don’t know.

There is this person who is so dear to me, we had a relationship before but it didn’t last long. Going back, before entering a relationship with him, I am aware that he’s not yet over from his ex-girlfriend three years ago. He told me that he’s through to her, but I know that he’s not. Despite of that, I took the risk to be in a relationship with him, though I know that once I enter the relationship, automatically, am going to live in someone else’s shadow and still, I took that risk and looked forward that time that one day, everything will change… but quiet not!

Moving forward… relationship ended but the communication is somehow constant and until now, we exchange text messages, phone calls and often do some favors he asks from me. The funny thing is, even though that we’re not together, we’re still going on a topsy-turvy situation like real sweethearts reason of an often fight between us.

Like what I’ve said, we’re not in a relationship but our communication is somehow stable and I admit that I’m looking forward for us to be back in each others arms, probably not now, but someday. That is why am doing everything that I could to put everything on the right track, am trying to understand him, his mood swings, tantrums, being impatient and being unpredictable, everything about him, at my best, I tired to comprehend but it seems nothings happen! I feel that I got nothing in return and I feel that I’m getting tired of it and now, I don’t know that “to be back in each others arms” I don’t know if this one will going to happen.

I feel that I’m tired of waiting for him, tired of understanding him all the time, tired of pleasing him always and I’m tired of waiting for him to do his part if he really cares about our situation.

Am tired! Am I giving up now? Probably! I guess I should stop caring at him that much and think about my self this time. Every night, as I turned the lights off, I’m asking my self that “do I need to let go now and is it time for me to give up?” and my answer… I DON’T KNOW! There’s a part of me saying “hold on, one day everything will be okay” and on the other hand, there’s a part of me saying “let go, you’re just torturing yourself!”

As of now, my heart is currently battling with my mind whether to let go or not. Really, I’m having difficulties regarding this matter, because when it comes in making decisions related to heart matter, it takes “hundred years” for me before I can decide. I have this attitude kasi na “give it a try next time, who knows, everything will change, give it a try next time, who knows, everything will change and so on,” paulit-ulit na “give it a try next time” until lumipas ang panahon at ‘di pa rin ako nakakapag-decide.

This time, I just hope and pray that one morning I’ll wake up and already have the courage that I need to do what I need to do. I hope this time, magawa ko na kung ano ang dapat kong gawin!

THE REYNAS

Santacruzan is a festivity to commemorate Queen Helena’s search for the Holy Cross. And at the same time, this is a highlight during the month of May.

Tomorrow night, May 24, Saturday, we’re going to have our traditional Santacruzan in our community in Pampanga, so I have to go home early to assist my mom for the preparation of the event.

I don’t have any idea yet for who will be the Reyna Elena in the Santcruzan, whether she’s a celebrity or not, all I know na ‘yung aming Reyna will be fifth in line representing Reyna Fe carrying a cross as a symbol of the virtue of faith as the first theological virtue.

Anyway, for some information about the participants in the Santacruzan, here is the list… arranged in order.

Methuselah, Reyna Banderada, The Aetas, Reyna Mora, Reyna Fe, Reyna Esperanza, Reyna Caridad, Reyna Abogada, Reyna Sentenciada, Reyna Justicia, Reyna Judith, Reyna Sheva, Reyna Ester, The Samaritana, Veronica, The Tres Marias, The Marians, Divina Pastora, Reyna de las Estrellas, Rosa Mystica, Reyna Paz, Reyna de las Propetas, Reyna del Cielo, Reyna de las Virgines, Reyna de las Flores and the last but not the least is Reyna Elena escorted by a man represents Queen Helena’s son, Constantine.

It will be an unforgettable experience to become a part of the Santacruzan representing one of the Reynas… take it from me, for I used to represent one of the Reynas way way back. Naks! Anyway, right after our Santacruzan tomorrow night, the head of this year Santacruzan will choose one from those families participated in this year Santacruzan for who will be the responsible for the Reyna Elena next year. And if ever na ibibigay nila sa amin ‘yun, then… I still have one year to prepare to be the Reyna Elena… aww! Hahaha, Kidding!
